These pieces are three dimensional, using found objects and a great deal of glass. I am interested in the stories we can see in people’s faces, and how the past is always with us. There is mystery in ordinary lives. There is humor in the relationships we form, and pain when those relationships end. Glass starts out as sand, becomes liquid and is formed into a beautiful substance which allows us to let light into our lives; it is strong and fragile; it reflects our faces back to us, yet we never really know what we look like to others. Glass seems solid, yet over the years its shape will alter.
